Eden Sprouted Brown Rice Mochi is made from 100% whole grain sweet brown rice, a variety of sticky rice Oryza glutinosa. Mochi means 'pounded rice cake'. The rice is sprouted then laboriously multi-step made by steaming, pounding, and natural air drying. Enzymes released during sprouting aid digestion. Vacuum packed, no refrigeration needed until after opening. Cooked mochi softens and puffs into moist chewy cakes with a crisp outer crust. Great in soups as dumplings and for making crispy waffles.
